Workshops/Classes

Are integral to AAC educational programming. They sell out fast because our instructors are highly sought after and have achieved acclaim at regional and national levels.

Our renowned instructors include: Bill Davidson – Landscapes in Oil; Hedi Moran – Florals; Nancy Franke – Alla Prima Oils/Children’s Portraits.

Tuition:  Tuition is noted in each workshop description. There are member and non-member rates.

Registration:  Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Your payment is your registration. Workshops have a minimum enrollment requirement and maximum participation of 10-15 students depending on the instructor and type of class.

Payment:  Choose one of three payment methods:
1) Online with a credit card or PayPal account.
2) Call AAC at 404-237-2324 Tuesday thru Friday 9am to 4pm; Saturday 12 to 6pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.
3) In person at AAC, 2979 Grandview Avenue, Atlanta Georgia 30305.

Confirmation:  Email confirmations are sent immediately after payment and registration.

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due at registration for a workshop.  Remaining Workshop Fee Balance is due 60 days before the workshop. Major Credit Cards are accepted.
  Workshop supply list and description will be emailed after registration.
  Waiting list names are accepted in the order they are received and will be called if an opening appears.

Refunds and Withdrawals:
  To withdraw or cancel a registration from a workshop, class or demonstration, you must notify the AAC Administrator or Education Chairman in advance of the start date.  All refunds are subject to non-refundable deposit of $50.00

Refund Policy:

  • Full refund (less $50.00 non-refundable deposit) will be issued 45 days prior to workshop upon receipt of written notice from registered artist.
  • 50% refund (less $50.00 non-refundable deposit) will be issued 30 days prior to workshop upon receipt of written notice from registered artist.
  • No refund will be given less than 30 days prior to workshop.

Emergency Refunds:  Emergency refunds are granted only with AAC board approval and are contingent upon the extenuating circumstances. Explanations must be received in writing or email. Extenuating circumstances do not include family or business date conflicts; Emergency medical conditions and family death are valid for approval. Inclement weather cancellations will be rescheduled or refunded in full at the discretion of AAC.

AAC Workshop Cancellations:  Cancellations are based on insufficient enrollment numbers as decided and agreed upon by AAC and the instructor. In the event of an AAC cancellation, all enrollment monies will be refunded in full. In case of cancellation you will be contacted by phone or email five to seven days before scheduled dates. AAC cannot be held responsible for expenses or travel costs. Please call AAC for workshop availability updates.

Instructor Inquiries
:  Instructors interested in teaching a workshop must submit a proposal that includes the following information: program description; benefits of program; per student fee, number of days and timing; biography and pictures.  Submit to:  info@atlantaartistscenter.org
